Pediatric Urology

Pediatric urology is a subspeciality of urology which manages the urological conditions presenting in pediatric age group. Pediatric Urological conditions are different from adult urological condtions in a way that most of the conditions are structural anatomical abnormalities of the urogenital system compared to acquired conditions as seen in adult age. Most of these anomalies are complex and require high and technical reconstruction. These diseases are better managed by specialists who are specially tuned in managing these conditions. The consultant associated with our hospital is specially trained in pediatric urology under Prof. V.Bhatnagar and Prof. M.Bajpai who are among the topmost Pediatric urologists practicing at AIIMS, New Delhi. Common pediatric urological conditions requiring surgical management are:
